Arena Photography Guide<\/h2>\n

One of the key features of RinkAtlas is high-quality\u00a0photography that helps the hockey community to know what it’s like to attend a game at that arena.<\/p>\n

We appreciate any photos that you are willing to contribute to RinkAtlas. \u00a0Here are our current photo guidelines:<\/p>\n

Legal Guidelines<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • First and foremost, you can only contribute photographs that you took yourself.<\/li>\n
  • You must be 18 years of age or older.<\/li>\n
  • You must agree to RinkAtlas’ Photo Licensing Policy. \u00a0Right now that means that you:\n
      \n
    • grant a perpetual, royalty-free, fully paid up license to your photo to After6 Services LLC, and permit us to use your photo for any commercial purpose, or<\/li>\n
    • release your photo under a specific Creative Commons license which permits commercial use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Photo Subject<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • The subject of the photo that you submit must be the arena or a specific feature of the arena.<\/li>\n
      • The \u00a0photo should illustrate part of the character of the arena, or the player- or spectator-experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Specific Photo\u00a0Requests<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • In particular we seek the following photos:\n
            \n
          • Outside front of the arena during the day.<\/li>\n
          • Outside front of the arena at night.<\/li>\n
          • A sign for the arena that is visible from the road.<\/li>\n
          • The longest available shot of each ice surface used for playing hockey.<\/li>\n
          • Photos\u00a0of any ice sheets used for practicing skating or partial-ice hockey games.<\/li>\n
          • Photos of lobbies or other significant spectator areas.<\/li>\n
          • Unique features of the ice surfaces, including\u00a0\n
              \n
            • Center ice markings.<\/li>\n
            • Championship banners for teams that use the arena as home ice.<\/li>\n
            • Banners or plaques honoring players, coaches, or staff of teams that use the arena as home ice.<\/li>\n
            • Retired sweater numbers<\/li>\n
            • Championship banners listing players’ names<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Any other unique features of the arena, not discussed above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              How to Submit Photos<\/h3>\n

              Send your photo by email to photos@rinkatlas.com<\/strong> or tweet them to\u00a0@RinkAtlas<\/strong>.\u00a0 Please include your:<\/p>\n

                \n
              • Full name,<\/li>\n
              • Postal mailing address\u00a0<\/li>\n
              • Email address<\/li>\n
              • Phone number<\/li>\n
              • Twitter handle<\/li>\n
              • The name of the arena where your photo was taken<\/li>\n
              • The URL for that arena on RinkAtlas, if you know it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
