After6 Services LLC and RinkAtlas are referred to jointly in this privacy policy as “RinkAtlas” and “the site”.
The information published on RinkAtlas is referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Content”.
This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that RinkAtlas collects, and the ways in which the site uses that personal information.
Personal Information
If you sign up for any newsletter that RinkAtlas offers, at minimum you provide your name and your email address. If you make comments on the site, you leave your name and your email address.
Currently RinkAtlas does not accept comments.
RinkAtlas uses third-party vendors, identified below, to help with delivery of the Content of the site and processing of any orders or payments. In the event that you place orders through a third-party vendor, RinkAtlas never sees any information regarding payment transaction.

Explicit Consent
When you subscribe to any newsletter or make any comments on the site, you provide explicit consent for After6 Services LLC and RinkAtlas to collect the personal information listed above.
Contract
If you enter an agreement with After6 Services LLC for the provision of paid services in exchange for payment, After6 Services and RinkAtlas will be required to collect the personal information listed above.
Legitimate Interests
Finally, After6 Services may have additional legitimate interests, including account maintenance and site administrative purposes for the collection of the personal information listed above.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Legal Guidelines
If you upload photographic images to RinkAtlas, you can only contribute photographs that you took yourself. You must also be 18 years of age or older to participate. You must agree to RinkAtlas’ Photo Licensing Policy. Right now that means that you:
- grant a perpetual, royalty-free, fully paid up license to your photo to After6 Services LLC, and permit us to use your photo for any commercial purpose, or
- release your photo under a specific Creative Commons license which permits commercial use.
Photos Where the Subject is a Sports Arena or Other Facility where Ice Hockey Can Be Played
- The subject of the photo that you submit must be the arena or a specific feature of the arena.
- The photo should illustrate part of the character of the arena, or the player- or spectator-experience.
Photos Where the Subject is Not a Sports Arena or Other Facility where Ice Hockey Can Be Played
RinkAtlas generally does not accept or publish photos where the primary subject is not a sports arena or another facility where ice hockey can be played. If you submit photos that are in this category, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. In the unlikely event that those photos were published, visitors to the RinkAtlas website might be able to download and extract any location data from those images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Using Personal Information
After6 Services LLC may use your personal information to:
- fulfill our part of the agreement whereby you provided the personal information.
- create, maintain, customize, and secure your account on RinkAtlas.
- provide you with support and to respond to your inquiries, including to investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses.
- administer RinkAtlas and the Content.
- personalize the website for you by displaying your name or changing the appearance of the website according to your settings if you log in.
- enable your access to and use of the Content and the website services.
- send to you any newsletter that you subscribed to, as well as any account-related email.
- collect your personal information or as otherwise set forth in the GDPR, CCPA, or the applicable laws.
- prevent transaction fraud.
- respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
- send you marketing communications.
Where RinkAtlas discloses your personal information to its agents or sub-contractors for these purposes, the agent or sub-contractor in question will be obligated to use that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement. Except for the third-party vendors that collect your data separately when you sign up and pay, RinkAtlas does not share any of its user data with any third parties.
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified in this privacy policy, RinkAtlas may disclose your personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
3rd-Party Service Providers
Operation Gadget uses the following 3rd-party service providers for certain content served on the Site. By using OperationGadget.com you are accessing these services. Operation Gadget does not provide nor receive any personal information from these services:
- Linode: OperationGadget.com runs on a server provided by Linode to After6 Services LLC. Linode Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics: Google Analytics provides data concerning site visitors and activity at the website. Google Analytics Privacy Policy.
- Jetpack: Jetpack provides security and backup services for Operation Gadget, and recommends additional articles to read. Jetpack Privacy Policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so RinkAtlas can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), RinkAtlas also stores the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data RinkAtlas holds about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
