The Sun Post Herald reports that the North Olmstead Ice Rink reopens on November 1 after a $2.2 million renovation project.
According to the article every major system in an operating hockey arena will have been upgraded. “… the renovated ice rink includes 14 miles of piping, as well as a new accessible rink entrance, hockey box for sled hockey players and glass system that’s higher and safer compared to the previous glass…. The project includes improvement of the roof and building envelope, HVAC and humidification systems and lighting.”
North Olmstead Recreation Center is the home of The North Olmstead Hockey Club and The Cleveland Ice Storm Skating Club.
